Hi, I’m Pam Hurley-Moser.
I grew up in a small town in Maine with a hunger to see the world and experience life beyond the familiar. At 18, I set off on what was supposed to be a gap year—but what I found was a lifelong calling. By 20, I had lived, worked, and wandered through cultures and landscapes that transformed how I saw the world—and myself.
I’ve spent the last three decades building a career fueled by that same curiosity—designing travel experiences that invite others to step outside the ordinary. As the founder of Hurley Travel Experts, I led a team recognized for pioneering a unique blend of experiential travel, strategic advising, and top-tier service. We had the privilege of helping people connect with the world—and with themselves—in deeply meaningful ways.
Somewhere along the way, USA Today featured me on the cover for developing a distinctive, people-first business model in the travel industry. After 20 years, my company was acquired—an exciting milestone that made room (literally) for new adventures.
Speaking of space… I’m also one of only a handful of travel experts globally accredited as a Space Agent with Virgin Galactic. After training at the Kennedy Space Center, I became certified to sell suborbital space flights. Turns out, the sky isn’t the limit—it’s just the beginning.
These days, I’ve partnered with Ilse Haag, a kindred spirit in travel and transformation, to keep doing what I love most: helping others embrace the unknown, welcome the unexpected, and savor the adventure—on this planet or beyond.
HI, I’M ILSE HAAG.
Both my parents are immigrants and taught me by example to not only embrace “new” and “different”, but to truly put myself out there, because there’s no connection or personal growth when we don’t allow for new experiences. By the age of 18, I had lived in 14 different places, spending every summer of my childhood living with family in Germany and Austria.
I graduated from an international high school in Brazil and vagabonded through Europe by myself after college. I met my husband and got married in Montana. Finally, I put down roots when we landed in Maine on a whim in 1996.
When I travel anywhere, I become closer to my own true essence, as traveling requires me to interact with people I don’t yet know, and it reminds me to savor each moment. When something is new—a connection, view, language, flavor, smell—it’s easy to pause and relish in the newness.
When I come home from traveling, I make a conscious effort to bring that beautiful awareness into my everyday life.
It would be my honor to share with you the transformative magic that comes from opening yourself up to the “new” and the “different”.
